Don’t Push Too Hard

Cooper has discovered the fun that having a bubble bath can bring. No, I do not mean the kind that comes after you pour “Mr. Bubble” into the running water and watch thousands of bubbles cascade into your bath water. I mean the kind that comes after you eat beans and you enjoy one bubble at a time.

He made this discovery when Dave was bathing him. A couple of days later, my mom informed me that she was bathing Coop and she thought he might need to go to the bathroom. Nope. Just entertaining himself.

One of the hazards of such an activity has already happened: a floater. Dave’s OCD kicked in and he had to drain the entire tub, clean it, disinfectant it, and then re-bathe Cooper. I would have just fished it out and decided the floater was clean. After all, it did get a bath. I guess this is why God usually gives kids two parents.
