Sometimes Less is More

On our trip I was only able to get out two or three times for a couple of hours each time because I am so sick. But, I did get some good down time, which is pretty great when you are feeling poorly.

Anyway, one day I went with Dave and Cooper to grab some lunch and we saw this very “unique” couple. I was proud of Dave– normally I am the nosy one and he gets embarrassed if I even glance at another table. When this couple walked in, he is the one who pointed them out.

I kept pretending to take Dave’s picture but had them in the background. The pics didn’t turn out so I gave up. Later, when I came back from the bathroom, I saw Dave taking their picture. Wow. I was sort of proud of Dave. Granted, he was as subtle as a freight train when taking the pictures. But, hey, we all have our techniques.

Of course, the pictures don’t do them any justice. She had the brightest yellow shirt and shoes I have ever seen, paired with a neon pink purse. She had beautiful Indian jewelry. LOTS of it. As in, she was a bit overdone. Some jewelry cases could not compete with her. Seriously, I don’t know how she could breath with all those necklaces on. She also had rings on every finger, and approximately 20 bracelets on each arm.

She and her husband didn’t seem to go together. Well, except that when the two of them find something they like to wear, they like to wear a whole lot of it. But, you probably can’t see him very well, anyway.
