Happy Birthday Cooper!

Wow!  It has been another wonderful, fascinating, interesting, and often trying year.  You are growing so fast.  While you are generally sweet, you have had some dramatic moments, throwing yourself on the floor because you aren’t getting your way.  Very entertaining.  You definitely know who you can manipulate and who you can’t. You are smart as a whip.

You amaze me with your comprehension and your mechanical mind.  Sometimes I wonder where you learned certain words.  Yesterday you pointed at the a/c vent and said “vent”.  The other night you looked out the window at the storm that was brewing and said “it’s lightening”.  I don’t know when or how you learned some of the words you know– it makes me proud and sad at the same time.  I feel like it is all going by so quickly.

When you crawl in my lap and hug me I just close my eyes, take a deep breath and enjoy every second.  Life with you is amazing!
