“This is Sonic Manager, Jamie speaking” (After she realizes that hanging up to avoid answering calls isn’t really panning out).

“I ordered food from your drive through and, while the employee was really nice, when he handed me my food I noticed that his hands were really dirty.”

“Okay” (Um. No, it isn’t)

REALLY dirty” (I realize I shouldn’t waste my breath quantifying the crud under his nails).

“Okay” (Um. No. It REALLY isn’t)

“Listen, I am pretty laid back about these things (blatant lie), but his hands were dirty and his fingernails were filthy”.

“Okay” (Um. NO IT ISN’T)

“It disgusts me to think about him touching my food.”

“I am pretty sure he didn’t touch your food– usually the car hops don’t touch the food.”    (Are we really having this conversation? And, did you notice she knew exactly who I was talking about even though no names were mentioned and there were several males working?)

“Yeah. But he touched the bag that my food was in. And my drink. And my straw. And my mints. And my ketchup. And my napkins. . . which I use to wipe my mouth.”

“Yeah.”

“Could you just pull him aside and show him how to wash his hands and how to clean the black stuff from under his nails?”

“Sure.”

Yeah.  That will happen.
